INSTRUCTIONS:
- Log into HMH.
- Open the lesson called Module 6, Lesson 2: The Zhou Dynasty and New Ideas.

- Shared reading of The Zhou Dynasty.
- Watch Who Was Confucius? (4 min.)
- Shared reading of Confucius and Society. Confucius interactive: Which of his teachings do you agree or disagree with?
- Shared reading of Daoism and Legalism. What is one difference between the two philosophies?
TUESDAY, JANUARY 26
OBJECTIVE:
Students will compare three ancient Chinese philosophies using a graphic organizer to record the differences. |
DUE:
Complete Ancient Chinese Philosophies (in Google Class). |
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Log into Google Classroom.
- Open the assignment called Ancient Chinese Philosophies.
- Click on the link at the top of the document and watch the video. The video is also posted in today’s agenda.
- You will be filling in answers about three different Chinese philosophies on the Google Doc.
- Remember, you should pause and rewind the video as needed to fill in your answers.
- If you finish early, continue working on the HMH lesson we started yesterday: Module 6, Lesson 2: The Zhou Dynasty and New Ideas. All lessons must be completed by the end of the week (Friday, January 29th at 1:00pm).

- There are three activities to complete. We will read through the activities and do the first two together.
