1. You will look at The Giver reading and the Google quiz in two different tabs. Have it so you can go back and forth to look at each.
2. Go to Google class and open up “Chp. 3-5 Giver Questions”. You must also open up The Giver reading too in another tab.
3. Read The Giver Chp. 3-5 pages 19-29 while you take the Google quiz. Use this link.

4. IMPORTANT: These are not too difficult but mainly to check if you did the reading. YOU MUST score 2 out of 3 correct and complete the Vocabulary word section, writing down 3 unfamiliar words, along with the page number, and one synonym for each word. 3) Do the practice sessions which are under the title: Compound Sentence Practice
4) Try to do it on your own, but if you have completed 30 and are still not complete, you should come to tutoring for support so you don’t end up doing a lot more work than you should, and so you gain full understanding and mastery. Remember, there will be a main test on Sentence Structure coming up.

YOUR LIST: If you are in my Monday/Wednesday classes, you should start and complete 6th Grade List 14. For my Tuesday/Thursday Classes, you should start and complete 7th Grade List 7. For those in the Tuesday/Thursday Lions, you should start and complete List 24. Your list is always due the next Thursday by 3:00pm.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to learn more challenging words, you can try out the Journeys lists or other lists you may notice outside of the Vocabulary Word Lists by Grade. If you need help with your reading level or if learning English, you should also be doing lists on your own from 2nd-5th grade lists. But you must complete your assigned 6th grade level list for credit. You must complete all 9 parts of your 6th grade level list for credit.

B) Go to Spelling Classroom by clicking the Spelling Classroom image on my Resource page.
C) Login to Spelling Classroom. Then select Lists. Then scroll down to the middle of the page to select Vocabulary Word Lists by Grade. Select the Grade Level and list number you were told to start from. (Email me if you missed class and aren't sure what list to start from.)
D) Complete 1 List. A complete list means you did each one of these parts in order.
YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY CREDIT FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT IF ALL THESE ARE NOT COMPLETE.
