IMPORTANT: YOU MUST COMPLETE THE GIVER CHP. 9-11 READING OR YOUR WILL NOT BE PREPARED FOR THIS CLASSWORK. THIS MEANS YOU WILL SCORE A 0 ON THE CLASSWORK AND YOU WILL HAVE TO DO YOUR GIVER READING IN CLASS WHILE THE REST WORK ON AN INTERESTING SURVEY ASSIGNMENT.

1. You will look at The Giver reading and the Google quiz in two different tabs. Have it so you can go back and forth to look at each.
2. Go to Google class and open up “Chp. 911 Giver Questions”. You must also open up The Giver reading too in another tab.

4. IMPORTANT: These are not too difficult but mainly to check if you did the reading. YOU MUST score 2 out of 3 correct and complete the Vocabulary word section, writing down 3 unfamiliar words, along with the page number, and one synonym for each word. Use proper spelling and understand grade level vocabulary words. |
DUE (End of class):
(Due today, Friday October 23) Complete “The Giver Vocabulary Sentence Completion #1” in Google class. |
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Go to Google class. Go to Classwork.
- Select “The Giver Vocabulary Sentence Completion #1”
- Read the directions carefully. But you are basically identifying what word from the world bank that should be used in the blank in the sentence given.
- Make sure your spelling is correct on your words or the auto-correct feature will mark your answer wrong. You have all the words in a word bank so no excuse for missing the spelling.
