Organize your writing by constructing an outline for Body/Claim 2 Paragraph. Cite evidence from text within an essay. |
DUE (Friday, November 13 by 1:30pm):
Complete the "Body/Claim 2 Paragraph Outline in Google Class. Type your full paragraph into the Body Paragraph 2 box of the Argumentative Essay in No Red Ink once your outline is approved. |
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST HAVE YOUR THESIS SENTENCE AND YOUR BODY PARAGRAPH 1 OUTLINE COMPLETE BEFORE TO BEGIN YOUR BODY PARAGRAPH 2 OUTLINE. YOU DO NOT NEED YOU INTRODUCTION PARAGRAPH COMPLETE; HOWEVER, YOU WILL NEED YOUR INTRODUCTION PARAGRAPH COMPLETE TO SUBMIT THE ENTIRE ESSAY EVENTUALLY. SO KEEP UP EVERY WEEK WITH EACH PART OF THE ESSAY.

- Go to Google Class. Open the document “Body/Claim 2 Outline”.
- As needed, review the notes and examples given in the Body Paragraph 1 Outline. Again, you will include all parts of a body paragraph: topic sentence, supporting reasons, supporting text evidence, and a conclusion sentence.
- Your topic will be based on Claim 2 from your Thesis.
- Do research for your topic to find evidence to support your supporting reasons. You must have 3 supporting reasons and 3 text evidence citations in your outline.
- Ask for support, or ask for me to review any parts of your writing, at any time.
- Complete your “Body/Claim Paragraph 2 Outline”.
- Once your outline is approved, you can type in the full Body 1 Paragraph into No Red Ink.
